The overall shape of the gymnasium is square and elegant, with the functions of important urban events and citizens’ physical exercise. The main entrance, the open treatment of the main view, and other parts symbolize the meaning of “opening the curtain” of the cultural and sports industry in Yizheng City. The facade adopts tens of thousands of red pottery sticks to form an orderly and interesting staggered, forming a relatively complete interface image, just like a beautiful gift box given by the city to the citizens, offering gifts to the city and residents, reflecting the three-dimensionality and flexibility of the building. The lighting design respects the architect’s concept and makes the Yizheng Gymnasium into a crystal clear gift box in the evening, which is transparent and shiny from the inside out. We always insist that the focus of public space lighting is to create a safe and comfortable lighting environment, strictly control the illumination and color temperature, and strive to create a delicate, orderly, and meaningful lighting atmosphere. Therefore, the lamps are hidden on the curtain wall structure of the pottery stick, and the curtain wall is evenly washed upwards while ensuring the beauty of the building. We chose 3000k warm white, which can accurately express the color of the pottery stick while giving people a warm and friendly feeling. On the big steps of the gymnasium, we hide light strips under the armrest to provide comfortable functional lighting. In the gray space and indoor passages at the entrance, we use interesting luminous bricks for guiding lighting. For a large amount of stadium lighting, how to meet the requirements of energy saving and environmental protection while meeting the basic lighting? Relying on the design concept of ecological and environmental protection, the design team integrates scientific and advanced lighting technology into the overall design scheme to achieve the goal of energy saving and environmental protection. Considering that the Yizheng Gymnasium covers a large area of about 56,000 square meters, it can be imagined that the proportion of lighting energy consumption of the whole venue is also relatively large. Therefore, how to achieve intelligent low-carbonization in lighting design is one of the key tasks of the whole project. The design team combines the background of the project. Through reasonable planning and design, with high efficiency and energy saving as the design goal, it uses light energy scientifically and efficiently; and adopts an intelligent control scheme to achieve an efficient and energy-saving park night view system according to climate, weather, time, and other factors. To ensure the best lighting effect and the aesthetics of the scene, we cooperate with the use of green and environmentally friendly lighting equipment and equipment to avoid light pollution, glare, and other harmful light and realize the innovative concept of light and people, light and nature, and people and nature in harmony. The overall lighting design of the project highlights the charm of the combination of lighting technology and art, highlights the strength and design level of lighting technology, and realizes the multi-way combination and multi-angle embodiment of functionality, artistry, and ornamental. As a key venue facility for sports events in Yizheng City and even Jiangsu Province, safety is the first consideration in the design and creation of venues. This lighting design focuses on the design principle of “people-oriented”, establishes the light and culture concept of “humanistic coexistence”, and creates a safe, comfortable, and beautiful night landscape that serves people.
