The Zhaoqing Sheraton Hotel is located in the core area of the Dinghu New District in Zhaoqing City. As the first international five-star brand hotel in Zhaoqing, it seamlessly integrates with the beautiful waterfront landscapes of the new district, including the Changli River and Wetland Park. Its unique three-tower exterior design ensures that every room offers excellent views.
The hotel’s lighting design is inspired by the reflection of Xinghu Lake. As night falls and the lights come on, the illumination highlights the architectural features, allowing the building to blend harmoniously with the surrounding mountains and waters, creating a delightful accent to urban mountain and forest living.
From a distance, the hotel stands quietly amidst the mountains and waters, beautifully illuminated. The lighting fixtures use high-efficiency LED lights, controlled by a dimming system. The light power density (LPD) of the façade lighting is only 1W/m², which is well below China’s green standard of 3.3W/m². The night lighting for the building employs internal light transmission, indirect lighting, and reflections to showcase its nighttime appearance, minimizing light pollution and protecting the dark sky.
