The site is located on a corner lot where Yanagi-Dori Street and Mihara-Dori Street intersect, which is located one block from Ginza Chuo-Dori Street. The site is a bustling area where tourists and business people from all over the world come and go while famous shops with the world’s top brands and traditions line up. As a tenant building built in this place, while expressing the philosophy of the jewelry brand, we explored the way of a commercial building that has been loved for a long time that matches the image of the area of Ginza’s tradition and innovation. Based on the idea that “jewelry is the existence that connects people and people”, in order to express “people” and “human relationships”, “people” and “people’s bonds” in a form, the volume of arcs is misaligned and folded. The pure white lattice-shaped curtain wall gave a regular rhythm to the moving facade, and for the building materials, parts specially processed stainless steel were used in various places. The curtain wall uses a cross-sectional stainless steel sash determined in consideration of the reflection of light. I hope that this project will give a new look to the street corner of Ginza Yanagi-Dori, giving depth to the cityscape
