Eskilstuna City Museum

Stadsmuseum, is a local history museum, showcasing also a fully functioning mechanical workshop and steam engines. The municipality commissioned the lighting design to improve the perceived sense of safety and security in the area, besides the nighttime image of the city. Five years later the lighting design is perfectly maintained, welcoming citizens and visitors alike; Chiara Carucci continues to collaborate with the municipality with a new team including Erik Hagström and Daniel Valentin, Lightwise AB
After careful historical research, a conversation with the regional heritage department, and test lighting, the installation on the facade was approved, since it involved the use of bicomponent glue, avoiding damage to the historical layers of the facade
