Port House, Antwerp

By Inverse Lighting Design

Inverse lit the complex, glittering exterior of the Havenhuis, the new landmark headquarters of the Antwerp Port Authority, skilfully texturing and layering the lighting across its faceted facades and manipulating colour temperature and brightness to emphasize its cut-glass appearance.

Extensive simulation and modelling enabled Inverse to complete the entire exterior lighting design project in just four months, from concept to commissioning. Close collaboration with Zaha Hadid Architects resulted in a dignified and distinctive scheme visible from some of Antwerp’s trendiest nightspots.
