Versailles France by LEA
It was a party and a night of a thousand bursts before being the day of a garden and a castle…
Lighting is “at the service” of architecture. It is by integrating the lighting as close as possible to the very architecture of the facades, that the geometric structure of the built front is best revealed. The interior lighting of the Hall of Mirrors, complementary to its exterior treatment, is exploited: it includes the interior and festive life of the castle. We also tried to transcribe the original lighting of the building that shone brightly. LED ramps have been installed as close as possible to the architecture, out of vision, and are enslaved and programmed to sparkle very slightly, suggesting that it is still candles that illuminate the castle.
