Inuru Paper-thin light

Inuru lighting is incredibly thin – it vanishes when viewed from the side. And they have mastered the art of keeping it razor-thin, even when adding a minuscule battery. It’s that power-efficient. The road to illumination, wherever it may be, has been cleared. Along with it: is an unparalleled array of possibilities

At Inuru they have been working for 11 years to unleash the creative potential of lighting by eliminating today’s constraints in shape and pricing. Surface Lighting is based on OLED technology (Organic LEDs.)

Beneath its elegant exterior, there’s a manufacturing complexity that’s unlike anything I’ve seen before. It responds to even the subtlest process variations and demands an unmatched level of mastery. Around the globe, companies resort to the most precise, costly processes and equipment to manufacture it today.

But their mission is clear: They aim to rewrite that narrative. They want to drop the production costs to make it accessible to a vast majority of applications around the world. They have already streamlined the process at our pilot line in Berlin-Adlershof, and now, we’re poised to scale it up

With the launch of our DRAGON Production Line near Berlin in 2024, Inuru will make Organic Lighting Technologies affordable, while enabling freedom of color and shape. This will allow our Lighting Labels (ELF) to step out of the niche of Ultra Premium Products towards more common applications like Medicine and Fashion, which will benefit not only a few but society as a whole.

Later on, we will replace, every LED, and every electronics circuit with our technology, because electronics can’t be stopped, but they can be made greener. Sustainability is not a buzzword, it is a mission.
