The Event & Conference Centre is situated on Guangyang Island, a land bridge island dominated by subtropical evergreen broad-leaved forests in the upper reaches of the Yangtze River. The main objective is to maintain a sustainable lighting concept to reduce light pollution to a minimum, providing visitors with an unobstructed and pure environment and night sky.
The lighting concept features low-glare light fixtures and glare-controlled mounting details. Through the hierarchical design of the lighting, the visitors can feel the mutual radiance and tolerance of the building and the hills, as well as the “sequence of flowing water” form of the building. The lighting moved upward from a low level, leading the guest to raise their sights slowly and continue to a higher level as they stepped forward.
