Beijing By Aedas, LDPi
The phase 1 of the Zhongguancun Xisanqi Jinyu Science and Technology Park is located in the Northeast corner of the Beijing Haidian district, at the intersection between Jiancaicheng West road and Jiancaicheng Middle road. This science and technology park stands out from others as Aedas shaped the buildings as a merger between the verticality of ancient bamboo slips used from the Shang dynasty wrapping the buildings and the waviness of technology advancements represented by time pulsation found in the curvy vertical and horizontal carves.LDPi took the opportunity to not only reveal the verticality of these bamboo slips and these curves, but also to differentiate them based on color temperatures according to the specific colors of the curtain wall.
